About the role:

As a Senior Product Manager you will oversee, orchestrate, and own the delivery of the next iteration of the Mapless driverless product and associated services. At Mapless we believe in extreme ownership and this role embodies the drive for progress and constant improvement of our product. You will work across numerous engineering teams to build reliable and scalable hardware and software platforms that meet the needs of our fleet partners. You will work in close sync with the Mapless leadership team to elicit, optimize, and plan the implementation of the requirements of both internal and external stakeholders. Your work will be key to enabling Mapless to ship products that our users and partners will  love.

What you will do:

  • Lead the direction of product delivery across the core Mapless driverless platform and associated services
  • Create buy-in for the product vision with Mapless leadership, engineering teams, and with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Drive engineering execution by highlighting priorities and risks, removing roadblocks, and maintaining clear communication both internally and externally with customer updates
  • Scope and prioritize activities and conduct weekly kick-offs with the engineering teams
  • Represent the company and make our customers and supplier base consistently feel that we are the best partner because we always deliver quick, consistent and measurable progress
  • Be a Swiss Army Knife: remove blockers, solve problems, and find a path forward in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Improve the productivity and culture of the overall team

Requirements

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • 3+ years of Product Management experience in a fast-growth tech company
  • Solid technical background and hands-on experience with delivering software & hardware-heavy products
  • Strong analytical skills and comfortable with uncertainty and managing risk
  • Ability to gather and analyze large quantities of information, and turn them into a compelling product vision, including economics/business plan  
  • Expertise with agile management tools (JIRA, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred:

  • 1+ year of experience with supply chain management involving hardware / electronics component sourcing
  • Prior experience with autonomous vehicles, automotive, or robotics development
