Job Summary:

As an Electronics Assembly Technician at Hellbender, you will be joining a multidisciplinary team designing and producing edge-compute enabled technology for our partners around the globe. You will be involved in every aspect of the product manufacturing cycle including interpreting engineering prints and schematics, assembling electromechanical devices and troubleshooting robotic sensors. We are searching for individuals who take pride and ownership in their work, are detail oriented and thrive in a team environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Follow detailed instructions to assemble parts into sub-assemblies, units, or systems
  • Troubleshoot and rework assembled units that fail standard tests
  • Collaborate with engineers in the modification or repair of sub-assemblies and systems
  • Assist with the incoming receiving inspection/quality control following company procedures
  • Assist in the inventory stock taking process and assist in inventory control procedures
  • Other related duties as assigned by Management and/or Executive Team

Qualifications, Skill, and Attributes

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 - 5 years previous electro-mechanical assembly preferred
  • Ability to read, comprehend and understand blueprints
  • Proactive attitude and problem-solving skills
  • Team player

Physical Demands: The physical demands can vary depending on the essential job function

Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently Must occasionally lift and move parts and supplies, various weights.

Visual Acuity: Required to have close visual acuity to perform activities for operation of machines, including visual inspection, using measurement devices; and/or assembly of parts at distances close to the eyes. Eye protection will be provided if required.
Work Environment: Required to work in a clean room, ESD safe environmental condition 90% of the time. Will be required to wear proper ESD and clean room attire.

There is sufficient noise to cause the worker to increase volume to be heard above ambient noise level. Hearing protection will be provided if required.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED
At least three years’ relevant experience.
Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
